Asset Allocation Programs
Through various relationships with Turnkey Asset Management Programs and individual money managers, we can provide access to a variety of investment options for our clients. Envestnet Portfolio Solutions, Envestnet Asset Management, Morningstar Managed Portfolios, Brinker Capital and BNY Mellon Wealth Management are just a few of the programs that are available.
Turnkey Asset Management Programs present many advantages for our clients:
Objectivity. Because we are compensated based on assets under management, our focus shifts from transactions to gathering assets and deploying them pursuant to a long-term, goal-oriented strategy built upon relationship-oriented pursuits. Thus, any recommendation to the client is based on whether it fulfills the client’s long-term strategy, not the advisors’.
Ongoing interaction and service. A fee-based practice is built upon ongoing advice and communications, and a heightened level of client service. Administrative charges, investment management fees, and execution/clearing/custody fees may also apply.
Simplified, steady pricing. One total client fee, typically a percentage of assets under management, is deducted on a scheduled basis from the account value. This fee usually includes all trading charges associated with buying and selling securities.
Investment flexibility. Clients can change asset allocation models to adjust for different life stages, for example, as they approach retirement.
“Same side of the table. ” If client assets grow, our compensation increases. Conversely, if assets decline, so does our revenue. Both advisor and client are focused on one goal – growth in assets.
Client-friendly reporting. Most fee-based programs routinely include custody and safekeeping of securities, ongoing account monitoring, and comprehensive quarterly performance reports.
Brokerage Services. We have the ability to perform brokerage services for "in-kind" transfers of most publicly traded securities.
Trust Services. We offer a wide array of trust services provided by MassMutual Wealth & Trust, FSB, a wholly owned subsidiary of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual). These include Irrevocable Life Insurance Trusts, Revocable Living Trusts, Special Needs Trusts, Charitable Remainder Trusts and Professional Trustee Services.
